If Tuesdays sweep over Parsons was a step forward for the Iola softball team, Thursdays 6-3 and 6-5 sweep over Neodesha was a leap.
While the Fillies did shut out the Lady Vikings and drop over 30 runs in those two games, the level of competition Parsons offered could generously be described as lacking.
