YATES CENTER One of the most successful American Legion baseball programs in state history will be honored July 7 with a reunion and old-timers game.
The Yates Center American Legion Post 13 squad earned the first of three consecutive state titles in 1968.
The get-together is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first state championship, with members of the 1969 and 1970 title teams expected to join in the fun as well.
