MORAN — A nightmare third quarter kept what could have been a valuable fifth win away from the Marmaton Valley girls on Tuesday when they fell at home to Northeast Arma, 42-32.

The Lady Vikings came into the game with only three wins — one of which came against the Lady Wildcats back on Dec. 4, 36-27 — and riding a five-game losing streak.

Marmaton Valley came in fresh off of a loss at Central Heights after earning their fourth win of the season at Altoona Midway last Tuesday. The match-up was fairly even coming in and in three out of four quarters, it showed.
