The Iola Mustangs pulled in seven All-Pioneer League football honors after a 3-6 2018 season.
Iolas lone first-team selection was senior Nic Zimmerman who earned a spot on both the offensive and defensive line. Zimmerman ended the year with 57 tackles, nine tackles for loss and an interception. Zimmerman also anchored an offensive line that led the way for the Mustang offense to gain 522 passing yards and 1,938 rushing yards this season.
Fellow senior offensive and defensive lineman Mathew Karr earned second-team honors on both lines after 35 tackles, eight tackles for loss and one sack this season.
