NEW YORK (AP) Starbucks Corp.s Howard Schultz is stepping down as executive chairman of the coffee company he helped transform into a global brand, and says public service may be in his future.
Schultz, 64, says he is considering many possibilities.
Ill be thinking about a range of options for myself, from philanthropy to public service, but Im a long way from knowing what the future holds, he said in a letter to employees.
