Allen County Commissioner Bill King said Tuesday morning Moran ambulance attendants told him black mold was growing on the walls of their station.
While commissioners have approved new stations to be built in Humboldt and Moran, the going has been slow.
Cole Herder, Humboldt administrator, said a property on Ninth Street had been rejected because of the extensive remediation necessary to clean up the soil of an abandoned gas station.
