The Allen County Farmers Market opens for the 2018 growing season at 5:30 p.m. Thursday on Iolas courthouse square.
The market has three locations this year: Thursdays, 5:30-7 p.m., in downtown Iola; Tuesdays, 1:30-4 p.m. at 700 N. State St., beginning May 2; and Saturdays, 8-11 a.m. Saturdays at Moons Market in Humboldt, beginning May 5.
The Allen County Farmers Market features locally grown produce, baked goods, plants, eggs, meat, and honey along with the use of VISION/debit cards, homegrown entertainment and chefs doing cooking demonstrations.
