Jumping in leaves, playing football, eating pie and watching the leaves turn were among the answers to roll call of What is your favorite fall activity? by 18 members and two community leaders at Sundays meeting of the Prairie Rose 4-H club. One guest, Doug Dix, was present and intends to become a Clover Bud.
Prior to the meeting, members made non-skid socks to be donated to the Moran Manor Nursing Center. Members also presented non-perishable food items to representatives of Thrive Allen County for the Moran Food Pantry.
Ty Scharff led the business meeting. Officer reports were given and accepted. Payton Scharff gave the Parliamentary point on tips to have an effective meeting.
